A LITTLE CHANGE
I always love visiting my friend Georgina's apartment, I always leave so inspired, wanting to re-decorate or re-paint furniture or something ....
I've always loved her bed against the wall in her bedroom, so I decided to try ours like that and I LOVE it, amazing how nice a small change feels ....
and it makes the room feel so much bigger ....
.... Elvis seems to like it too !!!
I'm in the process of having a big clear out, I have lots of great pieces left over from a few jobs I have done lately, as well as some stuff of my own, furniture, vintage pieces, lots of kids things ....
not sure which way to go about it, ebay, an online store ? ....
any suggestions ???

A LITTLE FIND
Found this lovely old box on a council pick up pile over the holidays ....
(one mans trash ....)
perfect for the kitchen shelves ....
these shelves were one of the best (and cheapest) things we ever did with our kitchen ....
.... perfect storage considering the space is quite tiny without much cupboard space.
A bit quite around this blog of late ....
I'm finding I'm spending more time on Instagram these days ....

we are experiencing heat wave conditions here in Australia at the moment, lets hope we get a bit of relief especially the towns experiencing the bushfires (just heartbreaking for so many people at the moment)

A NICE WALK
Getting off to a bit of a slow start in 2013 ...
I do have to start hunting and gathering some more furniture tomorrow for another cafe I'm helping decorate ...
but we did have a nice walk on Saturday morning before it got
too hot ....
.... and Malcom had a swim, he loves going in the water then rolling his entire body in the sand
we bought him home and gave him a big hose bath outside to get all the sand off, he then proceeded to throw himself in the nearby garden bed we had ready to plant our vegetables in (chicken manure and all) ....
I think he thought he was still at the beach,
he was a very black, smelly Malcom until bath number two !!!
